|Two years ago I adopted Oliver who was 1, now a 3-year old
Powderpuff Chinese Crested. He was taken from a puppy mill
just in the nick of time since he was supposed to be a
"breeder". It didn't take much to turn him around - put a couple
pounds on him. Shear off his dreadlocks and start over with
grooming. He's smart and SO lovely and my BEST friend. I spoil
him because he deserves it. I LOVE your PJ's -the whole
website is inspirational. Thank you!

|I recently adopted a 5 yo female cressy,
she is so sweet, I never knew much about the breed, but I am
finding out just how wonderful they are.
|I love your site!! I am a Crested owner and lover and am
impressed with what you are doing! Thank you!
|I have two of these beauties and wish there were more in my
area. Even the rescues are so far it isn't practical to adopt. I
would love to add #3 if I can find a little pink, spotty or white
hairless girl in my area!

|My mother, who lives in Chattanooga, TN, has been looking for a
campanion for her 2.5 yr old powder puff. She has fell in love
with the breed and would love to adopt another one. It has
been quite difficult to find adoptable cresteds in her area. We
have found that rescues typically want to adopt out close to
their own area. Any animal would be darn lucky to have her as a
forever mom! A playful, young, non-pp would be preferable.
She has a fenced lawn and no small children or other pets
besides her pp Mei Ling. Any help or suggestion that you could
provide will be greatly appreciated!
|Hi! What great work you do. I have two beautiful Crested crosses
whom I adore. They are such a charming and loving breed. It
saddens me that there are so many neglected and abused
Cresteds. Best wishes from NZ.
|This rescue group are angels for these beautiful dogs. I hope to
adopt a small dog in the near future, and I will consider one from

|What you do is so great! I praise God for the work he has helped
you accomplish, and wish all the dogs in this program get
adopted into good homes.
|My family owns Chinese Cresteds-3 siblings from a mother
rescued from a puppy mill in FL. Just moved to Arizona and have
lost our male, Moe, to a liver condition. We love this breed and
are interested in adoption.
|I had a Chinese Crested puppy for two and a half months. He
died today at the vet being neutered-he was 6 months old. He
was very lovable and I loved him. I like the breed and have a big
hole in my heart to fill.
|They are the most cutest things that you can think of. If my
family is lucky we might be getting our little Lexy in two weeks.
She is so cute that you just want to meet her.
|I have a 7mth old Chinese Crested [Sassy] who I rescued after
she was abandoned. She quickly became best friends with my
4yo Rotti girl [Shah] who has now taught her everything. They
are inseparable and very protective of each other also of me. I
never considered that I would ever have or even want a CC, yet
now that I have been given the opportunity to own one, I can't
imagine life without my darlings, either of them. Cheers Ma..
||Hi I would love to foster any of these little guys. I have always
been a dog lover had dogs growing up and would really love to
help these little guys.
|I just wanted to tell you how much respect I have for you and
what you do. I took in a crested about 5 months ago, and have
been through $1500 in vet bills in this short time (as Sue
knows). I also wanted to add, that your PJ's are amazing, and
they are now the ONLY clothing that goes on my baby girl.
God bless y'all !!!
||We took in a hairy hairless who's owner passed away about 3
months ago. Norman is 4 and the most adorable thing on the
planet. He is curled up on one side of me now. He has settled
right in with our 7 year old Weimaraner and leads the charge to
the door. Norman goes everywhere including my office and our
business. I adore this little guy and the breed!! Keep up the

|Just happened to stumble on your site. I adopted my little girl 3
years ago and wouldn't trade her for the world! You don't find
many Cresteds in Wisconsin either. Looking forward to checking
out your jammies when in stock, as she goes thru them. Keep up
the great work!
||I found your site while searching for dogs which didn't shed and
were non allergenic. I have never heard of the Chinese Crested
breed before, but think they are adorable. I have been thinking
of having a dog again. It's been more than 20 years since I have
had one. My last dog was a wire fox terrier, whom we loved very
much, but because of illness passed. It broke my heart when he
died, and I swore I never wanted to experience losing a pet like
that again. A short time later, I lost my husband to a sudden
heart attack. It left me needing to work full time, so having
another pet was out of the question. I have remarried, and my
current husband had had dogs in the past too, but due to losing
his dog in a divorce, he has shied away from owning another
pet. I think the emotional loss took a toll on him. He is retiring
later this year, and we will need something more to keep us busy
and with all our children grown and away from home, I think we
could use some company. I have been thinking about this for
several years and perhaps later this year or early next, I may
consider adopting another dog. I have several young grand
children and they are animal lovers too, so a dog would be a
welcome addition to our family, and these dogs are just precious!
Thank you for showing me how lovable this breed is, I may
certainly consider this breed when I am ready to adopt.
|I have had Chinese Crested pets for a couple of decades now. I
got my first one due to my husband's severe asthma and dog
allergy. I'm on my 3rd one. All of them were rescued and all of
them were the most wonderful dogs I've ever had. This is the
most loving of all breeds and they love to cuddle. I bought
some of your PJ's for my current CC and I love them. I wish you
were going to make more soon. Please stay around. When I
lose my precious CC, I will want another one. I'll never be
|Lost my boy Tommy yesterday. He went to Rainbow Bridge, where
I hope to see him again. He was 16 yrs. old and the sweetest dog
I ever had. Miss him terribly. He was hairless, and keeping his
skin well was a constant. But I would do it all again. He was a
rescue. Got him from a kennel when he was 2. Tommy is one dog
I will never forget. Have had many dogs in my life, but Tommy will
always be up there at the top. I do miss him. Thank you for
having a place to express my feelings about Tommy. Many
people do not understand the love between a dog and his
caregiver. Thank you.
||Very interested in the sweet little dogs. I had one several years
ago and miss him so.
|Thanks for introducing me to the breed! I would love to sketch
them! And I think its neat they can be therapy dogs too.

|Thanks to all the rescue groups for saving each and every
animal. Many kudos to all the volunteers and fosters you are
angels. God Bless You. 12/18/16
|I just lost my tiny sweet boy Luke, 18 1/2 yrs old, not a Crested,
but still a sweet brave little boy. I had to tell him I'd be ok, it was
ok for him to go be with my Mom, she was waiting for him, he
stayed here so long to take care of his daddy... Don't know how I
got here, but great seeing the pics of Geoff and Pony & faussi,
Pony always had a big grin for me, just like my little lulu, with his
joker smiles...heavens not missing that angel anymore. 5/26/17

| I learn so much from your site. My sweet Ruby came from a
poor situation. She was found out in the country in a trailer park
where some boys were being mean to her. She was living alone
outside. No more! She came as a foster and had to learn that
hands are not all bad. She is still hypervidilant, horrified of
thunder and fearful of strangers. On the plus side her health is
good, she has bonded well with my ancient rescue Yorkie and
loves my kids(all over 16). She is happy when she sees me get a
pr of pjs out for her and loves my bad singing. She's is my little
shadow. I am ill and in bed quite a bit so they are my bed
buddies. They get to go outside with me sometimes but more
often the kids walk with them. Ru is my little alarm. She barks
and lets me know we have company before they can knock.
Foster failure seems to be my MO here but this girl is a blessing.
